Overview

This was an assignment for a Tufts University User Experience course, where I was to design a solution given a Design Brief. The assignment draws inspiration from the automated MIT Roboat, and the goal here is to design a Lyft-branded, high-fidelity experience for the touch-screen, in-boat experience for Lyft’s autonomous water taxis, aka “adryft“.

Target Users + Use Case

Tourists & Vacationers: As a tourist, I would like to be informed on how I can have a great trip experience so that I can make some great memories and learn more about the city I’m in.

Use Case - This interface will be used in a moving boat outdoors, so I was intentional about the interface having high contrast and being concise, safe, and intuitive. Furthermore, tourists are in a city to enjoy the city, not to read another screen!
