OVERVIEW

ConnectMyHealth is a digital health portal that enables users to access and manage their healthcare information in one centralized platform.

As the sole UX Designer on this effort, I led the end-to-end redesign — from user research and information architecture to wireframes and high-fidelity mockups — while aligning stakeholders around the value of design and usability.

Through qualitative research and usability testing, I uncovered key pain points in the legacy experience. I translated these insights into actionable design improvements — including a streamlined onboarding flow, visual test result displays, and simplified navigation.

The result: a cleaner, more intuitive experience that supports 4M+ users in making faster, more informed decisions about their health.

IMPACT

I led key product design and research efforts to redesign the existing clinician-centered app to a patient-centric progressive web app that empowers over 4 million users to make critical decisions about their health

PROBLEM

Before the patient-friendly redesign, patients and caretakers within the Southwestern Ontario hospital system did not have a one-stop-shop healthcare portal. In order for them to view healthcare information and make informed healthcare decisions, patients and caretakers have no choice but to check results in multiple, disconnected sources via outdated methods such as phone calling their providers, and viewing scattered paper records.
